The apartment sits one story above the street, with a California king bed and an exclusive private garden tucked behind it. It is a good fit if you want Ptown outside your door and a place of your own to come back to.

The nice part of staying here is how little planning a walk needs. Turn one way for the Crown & Anchor, the other for the Boatslip, or keep going and see where the afternoon takes you.

We do want you to know what comes with that location: Commercial Street is lively. You can hear people, music and celebrations, especially in summer and during big event weeks. This is a place to enjoy being in town, not a promise of quiet nights.
The garden and rear of the property offer a calmer change of pace. If you're a very light sleeper, weigh the street-facing location carefully before booking.

Yes, you can stay at Ptown Perch without a car. Seasonal Boston ferries arrive at MacMillan Pier, within walking distance of the apartment.
Walk off the pier toward town through Lopes Square, turn left onto Commercial Street and continue to number 220. With bags and a busy sidewalk, give yourself time rather than rushing. Check Provincetown's ferry information and operator links for your travel dates before making plans.
We'll send exact entry instructions through Airbnb before check-in. The apartment is one story above the street, reached by an exterior staircase. There is no elevator or step-free entrance, so keep that in mind when packing and planning your arrival.

Parking at Ptown Perch
Ptown Perch does not have dedicated parking. We recommend Grace Hall, a municipal lot approximately a three-minute walk (0.1 miles) away. It’s where we usually park before enjoying town on foot.
Google Maps estimates a 3-minute walk (0.1 miles) between Grace Hall Parking, marked by the red pin, and Ptown Perch at 220 Commercial Street.
Open walking directions (new tab)For the 2026 paid-parking season, May 1 through November 2, the town lists Grace Hall at $3 per hour, up to $30 per 24 hours, and MacMillan Pier at $4 per hour, up to $40 per 24 hours. The lots accept credit cards, not cash.
Visiting in November or winter? Beginning November 1, street parking is permitted directly in front of the house on Commercial Street. Please follow posted parking signs. Grace Hall also becomes free beginning November 3, 2026, making it another convenient option for Thanksgiving and winter stays.

Town and the water

Ptown Perch is close to the harbor and town beaches, but it is not a beachfront rental. You're staying above Commercial Street, with town life at your doorstep.
For a National Seashore beach day, Herring Cove and Race Point are separate trips outside the town center. Plan a bike ride, drive or other transportation rather than treating either as the beach just downstairs.
